This Privacy Policy explains what information NHscan.com (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit https://nhscan.com and how it is used. NHscan.com is a free, listener-supported scanner and information site for Northern New Hampshire.
Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account and we do not ask for your name, email address or other personal details to use the site. Like most websites, our web server and our content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) automatically log basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This information is used only to keep the site running, secure and to understand overall traffic.
If you change the scanner player volume or open the pop-out player, a small setting is stored in your own browser (local storage) so the player remembers it. This never leaves your device.
Advertising and cookies
NHscan.com uses Google AdSense to show a small number of ads, which helps pay for the scanner stream and server costs.

Scanner audio
The live audio on NHscan.com is a rebroadcast of public, unencrypted radio transmissions that anyone can receive with a scanner. We do not record personal information about listeners. Information heard on the scanner is unverified and should never be treated as official.
Children’s information
NHscan.com is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
